Come to the Equal Adventure Inclusive Adventure Seminar

in Lake District!

Time: 9:30am to 4:30pm

Date:  Friday 11th November 2011

Venue: Ghyll Head

Address: Windermere, Cumbria, LA23 3LN

The Inclusive Adventure Seminar is a one day training event for outdoor instructors and people who work with, or potentially with, disabled users that want to get into outdoor activities and the countryside. Discover inclusive adventure solutions for teachers, classroom assistants and outdoor education advisor's.

At the Equal Adventure Inclusive Adventure Seminar you will find the answers to your questions and more. This is your chance to meet Equal Adventure, who support inclusive adventure throughout the country.

The training will enable you to find new ways of working to improve meaningful access for a variety of customers with disabilities. It will include classroom, climbing wall and water sports pool based practicals.

The tutor Suresh Paul Ph.D. has been involved in outdoor adventure for as long as he can remember, first as a participant and then as a leader of inclusive expeditions. He founded and runs Equal Adventure, the only charity working to meaningfully involve disabled people in outdoor adventure activities. Equal Adventure now provides information, training, events and equipment to help inform and resource anyone with an interest in inclusive adventure.

An attendance certificate will be provided upon completion of the day.

Whoever you are, we at Equal Adventure will support the cause of inclusion for outdoor activities.

PGL are proud to support the work of Equal Adventure and are committed to creating opportunities for the ‘young at heart’ to participate in adventurous and educational experiences.
